The government is tabling a Climate Change Bill that is the first of its kind anywhere in the world. It is not only a serious statement of intent, it goes beyond that and will set legally binding targets for this country to reduce carbon emissions.
The Tories talk about being green but have ditched their 'Green' logo after only 12 months and have opposed the Climate Change levy in parliament. The Lib Dems claim to be green, but their councils oppose the building of renewable energy sources.
